Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions.

The questions clients ask us most often before getting in touch.

Where is your team based?
Our office is in Bengaluru, India. We work remotely with clients across the US (ET/PT), UK and Europe, Australia (AEST), New Zealand (NZST), the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with working hours that overlap yours for live collaboration.
Do you work with startups or enterprises?
Both. We work with founders testing a first idea and with established companies that need more engineering capacity, and we adjust how we work to suit each.
Do you work on fixed price or provide a team?
All three models: fixed price, time-and-materials, or a dedicated team. We invoice in your preferred currency (USD, GBP, AED, AUD, NZD, EUR and more). We'll recommend the right model after an initial conversation.
How fast can you start?
Typically within 1–2 weeks of agreeing scope. For staff augmentation, we can often place a senior engineer within days.
Do you maintain what you build?
Yes. Most clients keep us on after launch for support, monitoring and new features.
How do you handle communication and code quality?
Sprint demos, async updates, code reviews and automated QA on every engagement. You can see where the project stands at any point, whatever your timezone.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do. Every engagement is covered by an NDA and a full IP assignment agreement signed before work starts. You have access to the repository from the start, and everything we produce, including code, designs and documentation, belongs to you.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, team size and engagement length, so we don't publish fixed rates. After a short scoping call we give you a transparent, written estimate. Our rates are typically well below equivalent agencies in the US, UK or Australia. See our pricing page for how each engagement model works.
Can we try working together before committing?
Yes. Most engagements start with a 2-week paid trial sprint, or a small fixed-price discovery phase. If it isn't the right fit, you can stop with no penalty.
Can you take over an existing codebase or project?
Yes. We start with a technical audit to understand the code, infrastructure and risks, then recommend the cheapest sensible way forward. That's usually incremental improvement, sometimes a refactor, and a rebuild only when it's clearly justified.
Which technologies do you work with?
Mainly React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Flutter and React Native, PHP and WordPress/WooCommerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. We recommend a stack based on your product and team, not our preferences.
Which tools do you use to communicate?
Whatever your team already uses: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Linear, GitHub or GitLab. Our engineers join your channels and ceremonies so they work as part of your team rather than as an external vendor.
